Optical Bonding

Halo has focused heavily on vertical integration, ensuring that our clients can rely on one warranted source for the display, touch and Optical BondingWe therefore have 3 in house Optical Bonding machines, delivering OCA (optically clear adhesive), OCR (optically clear resin) and OCF (optically clear film).

This enables a large array of different size and weighted display and touch screen combinations to be bonded with high quality and low yield loss. There are no third parties involved, and we deliver client’s solutions warranted in bespoke tailored packaging to suit each application.

Halo's optical bonding (HaloBond) technology is a cost-effective, display-enhancing lamination process, which allows a cover glass, and touchscreen (PCT), to be optically bonded directly on to the front of a flat LCD panel. This results in reduced sunshine reflection and minimises a loss of light from backlight units.
